Netscape Nitro allows you to balance image quality and speed, to customize your browsing experience. The settings can be adjusted at any time. The lower you set your image quality, the faster you browse. For slower Internet connections, we recommend that you lower your image quality to speed up browsing.

To change the Image Quality setting:
  1. Right-click on the Nitro icon located in the system tray at the right side of your taskbar to access the menu.
  2. Click Settings.
  3. Click the Image Quality tab, if not already selected.
On the left you will see a picture of a racecar. On the right, you will see the Nitro image.

  1. Click on the slider bar and move the bar to the left to lower your image quality and increase web acceleration.
  2. Click OK to save your settings.

Note: If you use Internet Explorer, you can also restore original image quality at any time by right-clicking on your mouse and choosing Restore Image.
