Why is NetscapeŽ/MozillaŽ not working with Netscape Accelerator?


Netscape Nitro Web Accelerator works with Netscape 7.0Ž and later. The primary reason why the NetscapeŽ/MozillaŽ browsers are not working with Web Accelerator is that the proxy setting is not updated properly. Please make sure that the NetscapeŽ/MozillaŽ browsers, including the quick launch located in the system tray, are launched after the Netscape Nitro Web Accelerator is enabled.

Please do not attempt to stop/disable Netscape Nitro Web Accelerator while you're browsing. Always leave it on for the entire time you're browsing. If the Netscape Nitro Web Accelerator is working properly, an icon (in the system tray) should be flashing/changing colour when you visit any Web site.

NetscapeŽ/MozillaŽ might not function properly if there are multiple versions of NetscapeŽ/MozillaŽ installed on the same computer. To solve this problem, please uninstall any old version(s) of NetscapeŽ/MozillaŽ and reinstall Netscape Nitro Web Accelerator.
